What we collect and what we do with it.

1. Who we are and what this covers

Two Guys USA LLC (“Two Guys USA,” “we,” “us”) is a property care and home improvement business in Green Bay, Wisconsin. This policy explains what we collect, why, who else can see it, and the choices you have. It covers this website, the quote form, the contractor application, the online accounts we set up for customers, contractors and our own staff, and the emails and messages we send about your job.

We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising, and there are no advertising or third-party analytics trackers on this site.

2. What we collect

Quote requests. Your name, phone number, email address if you give one, the job address and town, the service you choose, your answers to the quote questions (such as how big the job is, how soon you need it, and whether the property is your home, a rental or a business), and anything you write in the details box. From those answers the form works out a priority that helps us decide who to call back first, and it is stored with your request.

Customer accounts and job records. When we take on your work we keep a record of it: your contact details and address, notes that help us do the job (such as where to park or a gate code you give us), the services you have with us, quotes, visit dates, checklists, inspection notes, the price of the work, and notes from calls about your service. Photos of the work, taken before, during and after, are kept with the job. If we set up an online account for you, you can see your jobs and invoices there, update your phone number and email, and ask for a quote on another service.

Contractor applications and contractor accounts. If you apply to join our contractor network we collect your business name, a contact name, phone number, email and business address if you give them, the trades you pick, any services you type in, and your notes. If we work together we also keep your certificate of insurance and its expiry date, whether we have your W9, your payment terms, the jobs offered to you and your answers, your checklists and work photos, and the payments we have made to you. We do not collect your Social Security number or bank details through this website.

Sign in. For anyone with an account: your email address, your password (stored only in scrambled form by our sign in provider, never readable by us), and for administrators a sign in code from an authenticator app. Our sign in provider records when you sign in and the IP address you signed in from, to keep accounts secure.

Address suggestions. As you type in an address box, what you have typed so far is sent to Photon, a free address lookup service run by komoot in Germany, so it can suggest matching addresses. Photon receives the text in that box and, as any website does, your IP address and browser details. It never receives your name, phone number or email address.

Information collected automatically. Our website host and our database provider keep standard request logs (IP address, browser type, the page or data requested, and the time) to run the service and keep it secure.

We also keep a simple count of page visits so we can see which pages are useful. Each record holds the page address, the website you came from (its name only, never the full link), whether you were on a phone, tablet or computer, and a random identifier that lasts until you close the tab. It does not store your IP address or your name, it is not shared with anyone, and it is not used for advertising. If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal we do not count the visit at all.

When you send a quote request or an application we also record how the form was used: how long it was open, how many times you typed or tapped in it, how many times something was pasted in, whether your browser identifies itself as automated, and whether a hidden field that only automated programs fill in was filled in. We use this only to tell a real inquiry from automated junk.

When we send you a link to leave us a Google review, by text or by email, the link passes through this site first so we can see whether it was opened. We cannot see whether you left a review, or who wrote any review.

3. How we use it

To answer your request, visit the property, prepare a quote, schedule and carry out the work, check it when it is finished, bill for it, and stay in touch about it. To run our contractor network: review applications, offer jobs, confirm insurance, and pay for completed work. To keep our business, tax and accounting records. To keep the site and accounts secure and filter out spam.

We also use your details to follow up with you as a customer: after a job is finished we may ask, once and at most once more, for a Google review, and we may call or text past customers about seasonal services they have had from us before. Tell us you would rather not hear from us this way and we will stop.

4. Who can see it

Inside our business. People see what their role needs. The office sees everything. A project manager sees our customer list and the jobs they look after. A contractor sees the job address, your first name and the job description when a job is offered to them, and your full name and phone number once they have taken it. Anyone helping with our marketing sees photos of finished work and customer initials, not names or contact details.

The contractors who do the work. Most of our jobs are carried out by independent local contractors we line up and check. We share with them only what they need to do your job.

Service providers who handle data for us. Each one processes information on our behalf to provide its service:

Vercel hosts this website and the small programs behind it. Supabase stores our database, job photos and documents, and runs account sign in. Resend delivers our emails. Google Calendar holds our schedule: when a job, site visit or follow up is booked, the calendar entry carries the customer’s name, phone number, email address, the job address and our notes. QuickBooks Online, from Intuit, is our accounting software: invoices and estimates there carry the customer’s name, contact details, address, the work done and its price, and contractor payments are recorded there. Photon, run by komoot, provides address suggestions as described above. Our emails also load our logo from this site and, in some email apps, our typefaces from Google Fonts, which means Google can see the IP address of the device that opens the email.

When the law requires it. We will disclose information when we are legally required to, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public. If the business is ever sold or reorganized, its records would go with it, and this policy would continue to apply to them.

5. Google Calendar

Our office connects one Google account’s calendar to our dashboard. We use that connection only to add, update and remove calendar entries for our own jobs, site visits and follow ups, and to show the office that calendar’s entries inside our dashboard. The connection’s access key is stored encrypted and is used only by our dashboard to keep that calendar up to date. We do not use information from Google to advertise, we do not sell it, we do not let anyone read it except the office staff who run the schedule, and we do not use it to train any AI or machine learning model.

Two Guys USA’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The office can disconnect the calendar at any time in the dashboard’s settings, or from the Google account’s security settings.

6. QuickBooks

Our dashboard connects to our own QuickBooks Online company so we can create invoices and estimates, send them, see whether they have been paid, and keep a copy of our books in the dashboard for the office. The copy is visible to office staff only, and customers see only their own invoices in their account. The connection’s access key is stored encrypted. If an invoice lets you pay online, Intuit handles that payment under its own terms and privacy policy, and we never see your full card or bank details.

7. Cookies and browser storage

This site does not set cookies of its own, though our host may set a short security cookie if it needs to check that a visitor is not an automated program. The site keeps two small values in your browser’s session storage, which your browser clears when you close the tab: one remembers that you have already seen the intro animation, and the other is the random visit identifier described above.

If you sign in to an account, your browser keeps you signed in on that device (in its local storage) until you sign out, and remembers small preferences such as which sections you opened and whether you have finished the guided tour. Blocking any of this will not stop the public site working, though you may have to sign in each time.

8. How long we keep it

We keep quote requests, job records, photos, invoices and contractor records for as long as we need them to do the work and for our business, tax and insurance records afterwards. Requests that turn out to be spam may be deleted at any time. Page visit counts are kept as a running history of how the site is used. If you would like your details removed, ask us and we will delete them, except for anything we need to keep for tax or accounting, to resolve a dispute, or because the law requires it.

9. How we protect it

Everything is sent over encrypted connections. Our database only lets each signed in person read what their role allows, administrators need a sign in code from their phone as well as a password, and the keys that connect us to Google and QuickBooks are stored encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, so if we ever learn that your personal information has been exposed, we will tell you promptly and as the law requires.

10. Your choices and rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can update your own phone number and email in your account, and you can tell us at any time to stop review requests, seasonal calls or texts. We will answer within 45 days, and we will not treat you differently for asking.

Some states give their residents specific privacy rights. We offer the choices above to everyone, wherever you live. Because we do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising, there is nothing to opt out of, and that applies whether or not your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.

11. Children

This site and our services are for property owners and adults. They are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes

When this policy changes we update it here and change the date at the top of the page. If a change affects how we use information we already hold in a significant way, we will tell the people affected before it takes effect.
